Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
At Telvoip, we want your visit to our website to be smooth, reliable, and useful. This Cookie Policy explains how telvoip.io (the "website", operated by Telvoip) uses cookies and similar technologies — such as local storage and tracking pixels — when you visit us. It applies to the marketing site, blog, knowledge base, and careers pages served from this domain. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work more efficiently and to give site owners information about usage. We also use "local storage", a similar technology that keeps small amounts of data in your browser — we say "cookies" throughout this policy to cover both, unless stated otherwise.
How consent works on this website
On your first visit you will see a cookie banner with three options:Accept all, Save choices (you pick categories yourself), and Decline all. Nothing beyond the essential cookies listed below is set until you make a choice, and our measurement tags are configured with Google Consent Mode defaults of denied before anything can load.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page — this re-opens the banner, and declining removes previously granted permissions. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under
telvoip-consent-v2and is not used to profile you. - Essential cookies are always active because the website cannot function securely without them; everything else is off by default.
Types of cookies we use
1. Essential cookies — always active
Necessary for the website to function properly, for security, and for features you explicitly request. These cannot be switched off.
googtrans— set by our language switcher (Google Translate integration) when you actively choose a page language. Provider: Telvoip / Google. Duration: up to 1 year.payload-token— authenticates Telvoip staff in the content management system. This cookie is never set for ordinary visitors. Provider: Telvoip. Duration: short-lived session (about 2 hours, renewed while staff work).__prerender_bypass,__next_preview_data— enable editors to preview unpublished drafts before publishing. Provider: Telvoip (Next.js). Duration: session only.
2. Analytical / performance cookies — optional
Help us measure traffic and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Loaded only with your consent.
_ga,_ga_*— Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TSZ7SKXE0T). Distinguishes visitors, stores page interactions, and page-speed (Core Web Vitals) measurements. Provider: Google. Duration: up to 2 years.- Contentsquare (
cs_*and similar) — anonymised usage analytics and session-replay metrics that show us how pages are used. Provider: Contentsquare. Duration: up to 13 months.
3. Functionality cookies — always active
Remember your choices when you return to our website so you do not have to set them again. We only use them for choices you make yourself and they do not profile you across sites.
googtrans(described above) — remembers the language you selected so the site opens in it next time.
4. Targeting / advertising cookies — optional
Record visits, pages viewed, and links followed so we can measure which campaigns bring useful traffic and make content and advertising more relevant. Loaded only with your consent, and Google Consent Mode signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) stay denied until you accept.
_gcl_*— Google Ads (account AW-18381658462) conversion tracking: links ad clicks (e.g.gclid) to lead forms and demo bookings so we can measure campaign performance. Provider: Google. Duration: up to 90 days.
Local storage we use (not cookies)
telvoip-consent-v2— your cookie choices. Duration: until you clear it or change your choice.telvoip-attribution-v1/telvoip-attribution-session-v1— remembers which campaign or link brought you here (UTM parameters, referrer, ad click IDs) so we can attribute signups and demo bookings correctly, and carry that context to our app when you continue there. Duration: 30 days (session for the latter).
Third parties on this website
- Google— Analytics, Ads, Consent Mode, and Translate. See Google's Privacy & Terms and, for advertising, Google's partner policies.
- Contentsquare — usage analytics; see their privacy centre for details.
- Support chat — our chat launcher connects to a widget hosted at
app.telvoip.io. When you open the chat, that service may set its own cookies or local storage to keep the conversation working; it is used to provide the support you requested. Chat is offered on a separate Telvoip platform with its own terms.
Do we set anything before you choose?
Only essential and functionality cookies (security, login for staff, draft preview for editors, and your own language choice). Analytics and advertising tags do not load, and no measurement identifiers are set, until you grant the matching category in the banner.
Your choices
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer to review or withdraw consent at any time. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings; if you block or delete them, some features (such as your saved language) may need to be set again on each visit, and parts of the site may not work as intended. Declining optional cookies never blocks access to any part of the website.
International transfers
Our providers (Google, Contentsquare) may process data outside your country, including the United States. Where required, we rely on their certified transfer mechanisms (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) and contractual safeguards.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our tags or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown above. Material changes to how we use cookies will be reflected in the consent banner on your next visit.
